More Trough Line Storms Friday 11/12/2015

Storms have again developed in Northern NSW and South East Queensland along a trough of low pressure. Storms began to develop first on the Darling Downs and Northern NSW before further storms formed in the Lockyer Valley. These storms are moving slowly east.

On Wednesday 9/12/2015 storms developed in NSW associated with a trough. The storms produced a spectacular lightshow in Sydney and extensively up the NSW north coast. Wednesday 02/12/2015 brought some early rain areas before storms formed in the area between Esk and Somerset Dam late in the morning. Inland and Northern Rivers Storms – 01/11/2015

A strong inversion kept storms away from the South East Coast of Brisbane but there were still storms formed along the double troughs inland in QLD and NSW. Particular areas affected by storms yesterday were Narrabri, Gunnadah and Casino in NSW and Chinchilla, Roma and Goondiwindi areas in QLD.
