On Thursday, a 400km long squall line of embedded thunderstorm cells is moved through South East Queensland. The squall line produced some very impressive gust front clouds and strong winds with gusts approaching 100km/h. There was a lot of lightning in the storms with very short staccato type cloud to ground lightning strikes.
